IFA Aromatherapy Massage Diploma Course

Holistic Aromatherapy

This Aromatherapy Diploma is available as a complete Diploma for people with no massage training (14 months part time) or as a post-graduate course for therapists with a recognised massage qualification (6 months part time).

IFA, The International Federation of Aromatherapists, was founded in 1985 and is a world-wide organisation for professional Aromatherapists. It acts as an independent representative body for the profession and has in place Standards and Ethics and a Code of Practice. Accredited independent training establishments who adhere to the IFA's high standards, run the courses.

EfH is a School Forum member of the AOC (Aromatherapy Organisations Council)

This course teaches students how to combine the use of essential oils, aromatherapy massage, (plus other methods of application), and the understanding of the body's subtle energy balance in order to counteract stress, ease pain, help with chronic ailments and work in harmony with the body to bring about equilibrium.  On completion, the course enables all students to take the IFA Diploma in Holistic Aromatherapy examination

For students with no previous massage qualifications, for the first ten weekends of the 20 weekend Aromatherapy course, you will be studying for the ITEC/BTEC Diploma in Holistic Massage (inc. Anatomy and Physiology) for which practical and theory examinations will be undertaken.  Upon successful completion of these exams you will be able to practice professionally as an Holistic Massage Therapist, whilst still studying for your Aromatherapy Massage Diploma.
