Massage, Anatomy & Physiology

BTEC (The Business and Technical Education Council) is a long established awarding body that works closely with colleges and universities to deliver qualifications to over 2 million learners around the world.

ITEC is an independent professional examinations board whose examinations are recognised nationally and internationally.

Successful completion of these part time Diploma courses will provide you with the qualification of Massage Therapist, and the knowledge and techniques needed to give massage treatments. Essentials for Health has been teaching this, our most successful course, since 1992 and has developed the course to produce highly trained therapists who are fully confident to go out to work upon qualification. All practical classes are small so you receive a high level of personal attention. We teach a large number of massage techniques working on couches, using both demonstrations and individual tuition. There is ample time to practice whilst in class and at home between course dates. Regular tests will build your examination confidence; handouts, visual material and tutorials back up all group exercises, quizzes and lectures. Our high rate of exam success reflects the fact that we teach up to and beyond ITEC requirements.
