Who are our Students?

Men and women ranging in age from early twenties to people in their sixties. Often looking for a career change, we have accountants, nurses, secretaries, librarians, actors, managers, teachers, stock brokers and mothers, to name a few, training with us. We train people from all over the world including those from South Africa, Japan, France, Cyprus, Oman, Saudi Arabia, China, Portugal, Canada and Australia, who fly to the U.K just to be with us. We now offer a specialist programme of advanced Aromatherapy to students from Japan.

We train over 300 people a year in Diploma and Certificate courses, approximately 400 in Seminars and Workshops and an equal number on our Stress Management Programme.

Many people choose to do several Diploma and Certificate courses with EfH, valuing the high quality of our training, the wonderful team of trainers we have and the friendship, love and support that abounds. As Essentials for Health students come from all over the world, we willingly assist in suggesting bed and breakfast accommodation.

Going into complementary therapies you will begin a whole new journey of personal development and growth, working in one of the most rewarding and positive fields.

As a complementary therapist, you will be able to work with a wide spectrum of people, from helping a top athlete recover and improve their performance, working to relieve stress of the overworked executive, or working in hospices to ease the pain of the dying.

Often, Essentials for Health receives information about career opportunities in the therapy world, which we pass on to our graduates. Furthermore, our graduates are entitled to free membership to our valuable Register of Therapists, which refers enquiries from members of the public needing treatments.
